We are noticing a problem with our Dynamics CRM 4.0 hanging sporadically from
the web client.

For some users, the whole system freezes for approximately three minutes at
which point an error message is displayed(see below). In the meantime, other
users can access the system fine. After the error message the system works
fine for that user.

This problem occurs for some users more than others, although they are set
up with exactly the same roles and permissions. This issue doesn't occur if
the user is logged onto the CRM server.

ERROR MESSAGE:
An error has occured. Try the action again. If the problem continues,check
the Microsoft Dynemics CRM Community for solutions or contact your
organisations Microsoft Dynamics CRM Admiistrator. Finally, you can contact
Microsoft Support.

Also one more observation is its not able to load some of the elements in
the form while loading and hence its getting hanged this is only one
observation.

Hi Ravi,

Our users are experimenting the same symptoms while trying to open a form
via IE in CRM Dynamics 4.0. The form freezes for 5 min.

Did you find a solution to this issue? I found the following solution on
another forum, did not have a chance to try it. I'll keep you posted.

CRM Screens freeze- Stuck
Try to open CRM Form usually edit.aspx page with a few iframes.

in some cases screen Stuck.

The reason for that is internet explorer Settings.
The default connection for internet explorer is two. It means the main form
request data + one of the iframes then other iframes wait.. this problem
Causes CRM to be freeze.

Solution:
Change the default values:
Open register page:
1. Go to start - > run and Type regedit:
2. Define MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server and MaxConnectionsPerServer like the
following example


[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings] MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server = dword: 0000000a
MaxConnectionsPerServer = dword: 0000000a
