CRM Menu not appearing in outloook

Hello

Im hoping that somebody can help me..we have CRM 4 and are on latest
outlook exchange server..Iv downloaded the outlook add in for CRM -
installed it successfully (with the my company option)..seems to say
finish and that it worked.
Also Im connected to VPN to access our companies CRM online but in
outlook I cannot see a CRM menu at the top of the screen. All I see is
Business Contact Manager? When i go into options and customise toolbar
I dont see a CRM option.
Iv tried rebooting my machine, re installing CRM, re starting
outlook..is there something else I need to do..(Iv also tried the
"updates" option it says no updates required)
Im running Vista.

You have mentioned that you installed Add in, I am not sure whether
you're referring to the same thing but it seems you mean the CRM
Outlook client, as opposed to the web client.

Even when CRM Outlook client is installed, it may not "show" in
Outlook if the CRM COM add-in is disabled/not added. You can enable
this very easily from Outlook. The way to get there differs between
Office 2003 and 2007.

1) Office 2003:
Tools --> Options --> Other tab --> Advanced Options --> COM Add ins

1) Office 2007:
Tools --> Trust Center --> Add ins. Select COM Add-ins from Manage
drop down in bottom. Click Go.

Since you are using CRM 4.0, the add in is located: C:\Program Files
\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Client\bin\crmaddin.dll.

Hi Nikki,

I don't think the CRM Add-in and Business Contact Manager can be used on
the same machine. Please see this post, specifically the bottom entry for
