Discussion:
Linking Contacts to Many Accounts

By default, all Contacts linked to a Parent Account can be viewed by
selecting "Contacts" on the "Details" navigation menu. I need to be able to
link individual Contacts to more than one Account. When I create ten
additional N:1 Relationships to Accounts, I either end up with ten more
options in the "Details" menu, or none.

I need to be able to see a list of all Contacts who are linked to an
Account, regardless of whether they are linked via "Parent Account" or "Other
Account 1" through "Other Account 10". Can I "overload" the "Contacts" entry
in "Details," or to be more generic, is there a mechanism whereby I can
display links to all Contacts which are linked to this Account through this
list of attributes/relationships, where the list has two or more members?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Depending on your exact purpose you may want to look at the relationship
roles. This is basically a many to many relation between contact and account
but this does allow you to type the relation ship (i.e. contact A "is owner
of" account B)

Showing the related entities of multiple relations in a single view. Can
only be done using a custom web page. There are probably some addons
available which provide this sort of behaviour.
