I think the answer is "no" but want to ask regardless. :-)

Is there any way to actually delete users in CRM 4.0? I know that I can
disable them as well as delete them in Active Directory at the operating
system level.

I am using CRM in a classroom environment. The users to be deleted are some
student users who did not own or create any data but simply looked at the
sample data (Adventure Works). I have them disabled but for "neatness sake",
wanted to completely delete them from CRM.

Thanks.

Hi Jerry-

Unfortunately there is not a supported way to delete the user's from CRM
4.0. You could hack them out with SQL, but you may run into bigger issues
doing that, so it's recommended that you just disable them. I understand
your circumstance and we are reviewing the possiblity of adding that
functionality in future versions of CRM.

Thanks!

As part of your cleanup you should also make sure they are taken out of
all teams and preferably all roles (once you have re-assigned all their
open records), Remove their email addresses so that no new emails get
accidentally tracked against them, even if their AD account still exists
and is in a distribution group, say.
