Hi, there is a workaround that we have implemented. Pretty simple and straightforward. Before selecting the filter criteria, click on the textbox where the results need to be returned to. And then click on the filter criteria. For basic example that could apply to all MS CRM 4.0 implementations, lets say you did an advanced find on "Contacts" and then selected "Salutation" equals (and right here) you have the box saying "Enter Value". If you move your mouse on this "Enter Value", you get an button with 3 dots ... that you normally click to bring up the options. So the workaround that I am trying to explain is that do not click on that button with 3 dots immediately, but first click on the actual text box, and you will see that it now turns blue-ish and becomes static (does not dissapper automatically anymore). So now you can click the 3 dotted button and choose the value (eg. Miss) and your advanced find will no longer be frozen.

Post by SophieKHi there,
I am running Windows 7 with IE 8 and when I open advanced find and start to
create my filter criteria it freezes.
Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know of a fix for this?
Thanks,
Sophie
Post by Shawn DiekenHi Sophie-
I believe this has been addressed in UR9.
Can you install this on your CRM server and test this again?
