Hello,

Quick question I am hoping,

I have a workflow that runs on the creation of a Contact, but when I create
a contact from within an Account the workflow does not run.

We are running CRM 4.0 UR 4. is this functionality correct or is it a bug
which has been fixed in a later UR?

I just tested a workflow whichcreates a phone call activity on the
creation of a contact. It ran fine when I created the contact
directly, under the account and even from the new button of the
primary contact lookup. Check the workflows area on the left of the
contact record to make sure whether it is actucally running or not (it
could be failing if the context is incompatible). Also check the event
you're triggering off to ensure it is the record creation.
