With the CRM menu in outlook choose options, Synchronisation - then uncheck
the task, phonecall, fax & letter checkboxes.

As far as I'm aware this will have to be done on each individual Client PC,
as there's no CRM system settings to supress certain reminders.

Unchecking the task, phone call, fax and letter checkboxes will stop these
CRM records synchronizing with Outlook tasks.

If you want to continue syncing these records, but don't want reminders you
can just turn off task reminders.

In Outlook (2007), select Options from the Tools menu
On the Preferences tab of the Options window, click on the Task Options button
Uncheck the box: Set reminders on tasks with due dates.

This will turn off reminders for all tasks, not just those created by CRM.
