Hi all,

Following the many useful posts here, I have created a workflow to
audit user actions when they create/modify/delete records (Accounts,
Contacts, Leads...). I have created a new custom entity called Audit
Trail that tracks the necessary information (what record was changed,
which fields, what operation: Create, Modify, Delete). I am using
FormType to recognize when a form was opened in Create or Modify mode.

I have encountered another scenario. Users can also create CRM
contacts from the CRM Outlook Client by clicking on "Track in CRM."
This is different than opening a form and creating a new record so
this really doesn't tell me which fields were modified.

Is there a way to know when a record was created from the Outlook
client using "Track in CRM"?

Thanks,
Mohamed

The only thing I can think of checking is if the category comes across
into an attribute on the contact record.
