Change price per unit in Prdocut opportunity

[Some queries - its urgent]

Hi

Please suggest the best way to change the price per unit in opportunity
product, because the unit price is taking from price list and the unti price
is displaying and calculating the extentended amount at the time of saving
the opportunity product. I created another attribute and enter the unit
price on it and updated the orginal price per unti by that, but when it save
it will be overwritting by price from sale price list of the item. Please
give me a simple solution on it.
