I have an html website that I've created for our email campaigns. When I
paste this into a quick campaign or an email template, the background color
or the watermark (which has the picture embedded from a URL) do not show.

How do we get an email template or a quick campaign to NOT be white
background?

Hello,

This is related to the way your mail reader, and especially outlook,
supports Html: very badly.
So playing with images and writing text over them using css positioning
properties is very restricted and quite inexisting.
All the Word html rendering engine (used in outlook) supported instructions
seems be to <table>, <img>, and very simple html.+ 5% of css.
So cutting and pasting from a web site should be validated by a test.

So, does this mean it's possible or not possible? My issue isn't with the
mail reader reading the email, my issue is trying to get the
background/watermarks setup in CRM to begin with. I'm using the CRM webclient
to setup the email templates (not Outlook).

It sounds like what you need is a [Source Edit] button on your
template editor toolbar...
This is just one thing provided by our inexpensive addin www.vizola.com/vem

Hello,

Yes you can't do anything, there are some ways to have a backgound image,
could be long to explain here.
What you could do is look at the html code generated by outlook itself when
you choose a background.
I suggest you google on the subject outlook html format.
And if you want an editor forr Crm template, our new product is ceap and
allows for many new features.
More by email :)
