Cancel Opportunity Automaically

Is it possible to create some automation around the cancellation of an
opportunity? When an opportunity is "lost" or cancelled, all the
activities (tasks, appointment, etc.) are not being flagged as
cancelled or closed. I know this can be done manually, but I am
looking for a solution for this to be done atuomatically? Any ideas,
let me know!

The only way I can think of doing it, outside of a plugin, would be to
set up a workflow on the create of the activity (you'll have to do
this for each activity type). Then you can say wait until the related
opportunity has a status of won or lost and then mark the activity as
closed.
